FG Insists Nigeria Conducive For Business

Minister of Budget and National Planning, Mr Udoma Udo Udoma, has maintained that the country was conducive for business environment despite the few challenges being experienced at the moment in Nigeria.

Mr Udoma made this known on Wednesday, when he received the Japanese Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Sadanobu Jusaoke, who paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja.

The Minister said the ease of doing business in Nigeria had been worked on, reassuring foreign investors of a conducive business environment.

Mr Udoma said the government expects partnership with foreigner investors in the areas of refinery, power, railways and expansion of export processing zones.

According to him, government is doing everything within its power to ensure that the security issues are being solved.

Responding, the Japanese Ambassador expressed the willingness his government’s increased business stakes in Nigeria, but urged that the Nigerian government must show total commitment by providing enabling environment for such business transaction.
