FG to Sell N236.7b Treasury Bills Next Week

Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Wednesday said the Federal Government plans to sell about N236.66 billion treasury bills (T-bills) at an auction exercise to be carried out next week.

According to the apex bank, this exercise, a Dutch auction system, will precisely hold on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 and it would be short-dated treasury bills with the payment due the next day, Thursday, June 15, 2017.

The auctioned T-bills would be N39 billion of three-month notes, N23.02 billion of six-month debt and N174.64 billion of one-year bills, the CBN noted.
