Economic activities in Nigeria have been slowed by demonstrations across the country, with many businesses shutting their doors over uncertainty.
Many Nigerians on Thursday morning stormed the streets to seek an end to bad governance despite efforts by the government to dissuade them from speaking their minds.
Business Post gathered that many business owners across Lagos did not open their doors to customers for fear of the unknown.
The situation is not different in other major cities of the country, including Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kaduna, Ibadan, Benin City, and others.
Also, the roads have been light due to low vehicular activities, as protesters demanding President Bola Tinubu address hunger in the land have taken over the highways.
Reports showed that the protests have been largely peaceful, though in Abuja, tension almost rose after some buses brought in some pro-government demonstrators.
