Jigawa Governor Empowers Youths

Some youths in Jigawa State have been given some materials to enable them earn some cash in this present economic crisis in the country.

Business Post learnt that a total of 1073 materials, including sewing machines, tricycles, generators, cash and others were distributed to the beneficiaries.

This was part of Governor Badara Abubakar’s campaign promise to empower youths in the state and make them better people in the society.

The items were given out on Thursday to the beneficiaries by the Governor at a ceremony that took place at Machina Local Government.

Mr Abubakar urged the youths to ensure they judiciously use the materials given to them. He vowed to always work hard to reduce poverty in the state.

The beneficiaries thanked the Governor for the gesture, pledging to continue to support his administration.
