Jordan Hosts Energy Summit

On April 2-3, 2017, Jordan will host the 3rd Jordan International Energy Summit (JIES) under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development.

The summit comes at a crucial time for Jordan and as support for its Energy Strategy with progress being made on several key projects across the energy spectrum designed to secure Jordan’s energy future.

The JIES summit is centred around a world-class programme with speakers from Governments, global energy companies and experts in their fields and is combined with an international exhibition to allow companies to showcase their projects and expertise whilst giving Jordan access to the latest technologies and products.

The Jordan International Energy Summit is hosted by the Ministry of Energy, Jordan. His Excellency Dr Ibrahim Al Saif, Minister for Energy & Mineral Resources, explains:

​With conference rooms catering for 700 participating delegates and an exhibition hall with capacity for 80 companies, the 3rd Jordan International Energy Summit is being held at the Grand Hyatt, Amman providing ease access and first-class facilities.
