The NASD Over-the-Counter (OTC) Securities Exchange recorded a 0.10 per cent gain on Monday, June 10 after three gainers stocks on the platform closed higher.

Nipco Plc appreciated during the session by N7.20 to end at N79.20 per unit, in contrast to the previous day’s N72.00 per unit, FrieslandCampina Wamco Nigeria Plc grew by N2.42 to sell at N43.76 per share versus N41.34 per share, and Aradel Holdings Plc went up by N19.38 to end at N4,775.00 per unit compared with last Friday’s value of N4,755.17 per unit.

The gains reported by the trio moved the market capitalisation of the bourse higher by N2.09 billion to N2.038 trillion from N2.036 trillion, and the NASD Unlisted Security Index (NSI) added 1.02 points to wrap the session at 1,487.64 points compared with 1,486.12 points recorded in the previous session.

Business Post reports that the NASD posted two price losers yesterday, with 11 Plc losing N20.50 to sell at N184.50 per share versus N205.00 per share, and Afriland Properties Plc declining by 66 Kobo to close at N17.04 per unit, in contrast to last Friday’s closing price of N17.70 unit.

Investors exchanged 610,967 units of stocks during the first trading day of the week, higher than the 317,572 units of stocks transacted in the preceding session by 92.4 per cent. The value of transactions recorded during the session increased by 41.3 per cent to N163.8 million from the N115.9 million achieved in the previous trading day, and the number of deals carried out went down by 4.2 per cent to 46 deals from the 48 deals executed in the preceding session.

Aradel Holdings Plc finished as the most traded stock by value (year-to-date) with 5.9 million units sold for N14.8 billion, Central Securities Clearing System (CSC) Plc was second with 101.2 million units worth N2.5 billion, and the third was Capital Hotels Plc with 228.6 million units valued at N1.1 billion.

Capital Hotels Plc was the most traded stock by volume (year-to-date) with 228.6 million units valued at N1.1 billion, Mixta Real Estate Plc was second with 139.9 million units sold for N240.1 million, and CSCS Plc was third with 101.2 million units worth N2.5 billion.
