Nigeria’s Acting President, Mr Yemi Osinbajo, will chair a Government—Private Sector Engagement Forum on the Nigeria Economic Recovery & Growth Plan (NERGP) 2017—2020.

The NERGP is a follow-up to the Strategic Implementation Plan (SIP) which was a short term economic plan to drive the implementation of the 2016 Budget.

The NERGP is expected to be formally launched by President Muhammadu Buhari later this month.

When launched, the initiative will seek to harvest inputs from all segments of the country to produce an all-inclusive development plan that will pull the economy out of recession and set it on the path to sustainable growth and development.
