Shareholders of Mobil Oil to Get N8.25 Dividend Payment Alerts October

The board of Mobil Oil Nigeria Plc, now known as 11 Plc, has said shareholders of the company will have their N8.25 per share dividend paid directly into the bank accounts from Thursday, October 15, 2020.

In a notice to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), the energy company said the cash reward would only be for investors whose names appear in the register of members as at the close of business on September 29, 2020.

It also said the dividend for the period ended December 31, 2019, is subject to the appropriate withholding tax and approval, while the register of members will be closed on September 30 to October 5, 2020, a period the registrar will sort out the process of payment to shareholders, who have completed the e-dividend registration and have mandated the registrar, Greenwich Registrar and Data Solutions Limited, to pay the money directly into their bank accounts.

Mobil Oil, in the disclosure, said its Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place at the Lagos Hall of the Transcorp Hilton Hotels, Abuja on October 14, 2020, at 11am.

The firm has advised shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration to download the form from the registrar’s website.
