Trading in the shares of MTN Nigeria Communications Plc, which was earlier slated to commence on Thursday, May 16, 2019 (today), did not take place again.
Information available at our disposal has it that this has been postponed till to Friday, May 17, 2019 (tomorrow).
The reason for the change was due to the ‘Facts behind the Listing’ organised by the company and the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) fixed for 1.45pm today.
As a result, trading in the shares of the telecom firm will begin tomorrow on the floor of the stock exchange.
Today, the NSE admitted a total of 20.35 billion ordinary shares of MTN Nigeria Communications of 2 kobo each by introduction at N90 per unit on its Premium Board.
