The NASD Over-the-Counter (OTC) Securities Exchange recorded a 0.03 per cent rise on Thursday, November 2 as the Unlisted Security Index (NSI) appreciated by 0.27 points to end the day at 828.48 points as against the 828.21 points it recorded at the previous session.
In the same vein, the market capitalisation of the bourse increased by N370 million closing almost unchanged at N1.123 trillion.
Newrest Asl Plc gained N1.21 during the trading day to close at N13.31 per unit compared with the previous day’s N12.10, Acorn Petroleum Plc improved by 4 Kobo to finish at 48 Kobo per share versus Wednesday’s closing price of 44 Kobo per share, and UBN Property Plc grew by 2 Kobo to N1.48 per unit versus N1.46 per unit.
On the flip side, Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) Plc lost 10 Kobo to close at N20.00 per share compared to the midweek session’s N20.10 per share, and Geo-Fluids joined depreciated by 2 Kobo to finish at N2.97 per share versus N2.99 per share.
There was a 1,348.1 per cent jump in the volume of securities traded during the session to 5.9 million units from 411,002 units, though the value of shares went down by 46.4 per cent to N23.4 million from N43.5 million, and the number of deals declined by 44.4 per cent to 10 deals from 18 deals.
CSCS Plc remained the most traded stock by volume on a year-to-date basis with 1.2 billion units worth N22.3 billion, UBN Property Plc was in second place with 1.1 billion units valued at N1.1 billion, and Geo-Fluids Plc stood in third place with 701.9 units worth N1.3 billion.
Also, CSCS Plc ended the trading session as the most traded stock by value on a year-to-date basis with 1.2 billion units worth N22.3 billion, VFD Group occupied the second spot with 26.6 million units valued at N5.9 billion, and Aradel Holdings Plc was in third place with 7.6 million units worth N3.0 billion.
