VFD Group to Pay Shareholders N3.30 Dividend

Proprietary investment firm, VFD Group Plc, has proposed the payment of N3.30 as dividend to its shareholders for the year ended December 31, 2019.

The dividend recommended by the board was announced in a notice sent on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, to the NASD OTC Securities Exchange, the bourse where the proprietary investment company trades its securities.

The firm stated that the dividend will be paid to shareholders, who have equities of VFD Group as at the close of business on Friday, May 1, 2020.

After the qualification date, the register of members of VFD Group would be closed by the registrar from Monday, May 4 through Friday, May 8, 2020.

It also said the dividend would be paid to beneficiaries on Friday, May 15, 2020, the same day of the company’s fourth Annual General Meeting (AGM). At the meeting, shareholders would be required to approve the dividend payment.

In the notice, the company announced that the venue for the AGM is Foresight House, 163/165 Broad Street, Lagos Island, in Lagos. The meeting will kick off by 11 am.

NCC Announces 90% Restoration of Voice, Data Services After Cable Cuts
