ANLCA Zonal Coordinator Joshua Ahuama Unveils Books at 65

To celebrate his 65th birthday, the Zonal Coordinator of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) Eastern Zone, Mr Joshua Ahuama, has launched two new books.

The businessman gathered friends and family members at the Cathedral Church of St Paul’s Rebisi, Diocese of the Niger Delta North, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, recently to mark the day.

At the unveiling of the two books, Practical Approach to Freight Forwarding and Supply Chain Management, and the OEM’s for Marriage, A Christian-Centred Devotional Manual, the occasion’s chairman, Mr Henry Njoku, chairman of Harritex Group of Companies, described the celebrant as a man God has given light.

“Today is a special day that we are celebrating a man God has given light. Sir Ahuama, rather than only feasting on his birthday, has given the maritime industry and every family a thing to be proud of,” he stated.

According to him, the first book deals with how goods are moved across the world, while the second offers biblical insight into man and woman and how they are supposed to live as husbands and wives in peace and harmony.

Also speaking, the president of ANLCA, Mr Emenike Nwokeoji, said the author has created a new vista in the clearing and forwarding profession.

He stated that, “Those who think our association is made up of people who cannot write their names can now know that we have people who can write books that can go places.”

The ANLCA chairman for Onne Seaport Chapter, Mr Ifeanyi Isikaku; the Abia Freight Forwarders chairman, Mr Ijere Ibiam; and the Zonal Secretary of ANLCA for Eastern Zone, Ms Chinyere Okere, all expressed their happiness for Mr Ahuama.

Mr Ahuama, who was born on October 25, 1961, is the chairman of Vitalaid Nigeria Limited. He has a Master’s degree in Transport Studies (Maritime Option) and others. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate Degree programme in Maritime Management Technology.
