An award of appreciation has been given to the News Services Group (NSG) by the President of the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK), Prof. Hassan Hamdan Al Alkim, for its exemplary translation and news distribution services rendered to the university.

The recognition is spurred by AURAK’s continued success in positioning the university as one of the top institutions of higher education in the UAE and the region.

Receiving the award on behalf of the firm, Mr Tony AbiHanna, CEO of NSG, stated that, “We gratefully accept the award from a prestigious academic institution like AURAK.  It is our privilege and honour to be their company of choice for translation and press release distribution. The award serves as a validation of our steadfast commitment to our core principles of speed, quality and accuracy.  When it comes to these aspects, NSG remains uncompromising.”

Mr AbiHanna, who received the award in the office of Prof. Al Alkim in the presence of Mr Abdulla Abdullatif Al Shahin, Vice-President of Administrative Affairs of AURAK; and Mr Joseph AbiHanna Regional Relationship Manager of ME NewsWire, the news distribution arm of NSG; said further that NSG will continue to assist AURAK in propagating its vision and mission of cultivating the highest standards of education in the region and preparing their students’ futures as they fulfil their roles in building the future of their countries.

Speaking on why NSG was honoured, Prof. Al Alkim said, “As we endeavour to constantly seek greater international recognition and accreditation, NSG assisted us, through its global news distribution and translation services, in painting a bigger picture of our global competitiveness and in bridging us to a wider audience.

“AURAK offers top-class programs, employ vastly-experienced faculty members, and ensures holistic approach towards equipping students with the right tools to be responsible citizens and highly competent professionals of the wider society.”

He added, “Diversity and multiculturalism are integral factors that make AURAK a university for the world.
