A few days ago, one of the leading underwriting companies in the country, AXA Mansard Insurance Plc, joined others to organise an awareness walk against Sexual and Gender-Based Violence in Nigeria.

The country has been witnessing an increase in gender-based violence, and it affects both genders, male and female.

In an effort to reduce this, the insurer took a walk around its neighbourhood to educate the people on the danger posed by this menace and how it affects the psychology of the victims.

Leading the team was the Chief Customer and Marketing Officer of AXA Mansard Insurance, Ms Jumoke Odunlami, and the Program Lead for Women At Risk International Foundation (WARIF), Ms Adeola Potts-Johnson.

They were supported by the chief executive of AXA Mansard Health, Mr Tope Adeniyi; the Chief Client Officer of AXA Mansard Insurance, Ms Rashidat Adebisi; and the Chief Fulfilment Officer of AXA Mansard Insurance, Ms Adebola Surakat.
