BREAKING: Appeal Court Affirms Sheriff as PDP National Chair

Reports reaching us indicate that former Governor of Borno State, Mr Ali Modu Sheriff, has been confirmed as the authentic National Chairman of the crisis-ridden Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Mr Sheriff was upheld today as the opposition party’s boss by an Appeal Court ruling in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Caretaker Committee Chairman of the party, Mr Ahmed Makarfi, is fighting hard to authenticate himself as the PDP chairman, but Friday’s Appeal Court ruling seems to have dashed such hopes.

Details later.
