Commissioner of Police in Rivers State, Mr Bolaji Odesanya, has been reported dead in a hospital outside the country.
Mr Odesanya, according to information reaching us, breathed his last at a hospital in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
He was said to have been battling with an undisclosed sickness.
However, a source in the police told our correspondent on Tuesday afternoon that the police chief in Rivers State died in a hospital in India.
But as the time of filing in this report, we could not reach police authorities in Rivers State and in Abuja to ascertain where exactly Mr Odesanya died.
