Buhari Tasks Oyo-Ita On Civil Service Road-Map

Winifred Oyo-Ita

The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita, has been directed to develop a road-map for civil service in the country.

Oyo-Ita was given this task by President Muhammadu Buhari at a dinner and award night organised on Friday by the HOS as part of activities to mark civil service week.

Buhari noted that the role of civil service in the government’s change agenda can never be underestimated and urged civil servants to remain dedicated to duties.

The President, who was represented by the Secretary to the Federation Government, Babachir Lawal, said he appreciates the role of civil servants in his administration.

In her address, Oyo-Ita had echoed the President’s view on the role of civil service in governance.
