Delegates Arrive For Ondo PDP Guber Primary

Reports reaching Business Post from Ondo State indicate that the governorship primary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) slated for Monday, August 22, 2016, is about to kick off.

Already, delegates to vote in the exercise are beginning to arrive venue of the primary, International Event Centre (The Dome) in Akure, the state capital, including the state Governor, Olusegun Mimiko.

The exercise is to pick flag bearer of the PDP in the November 26, 2016 gubernatorial election in Ondo State.

The event will first kick off with the accreditation of the 840 delegates to the State Congress before voting proper.

The exercise is expected to be monitored by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
