Timeline Awareness Initiative Lecture

On Wednesday, March 23, 2022, some heavyweights in the political and business scenes will converge on Lagos Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, for the 4th educational and social interactive programme, Timeline Awareness Initiative Lecture/Award.

The guest speaker for the event is the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Mr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, while others expected to grace the occasion include the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr Mudashiru Obasa; former Governor of Abia State and Chief Whip of the Senate, Mr Orji Uzor Kalu; the Minister of Information and Culture, Mr Lai Muhammed, the Convener of Arise Women, Mrs Siju Iluyomade; the Chairman House Committee on Defence, Mr Babajimi Benson. amongst others.

A statement from the organisers of the lecture disclosed that the theme for the programme is Imperatives of Harmonious Working Relationship Between Arms of Government, a Key Ingredient in the Success of Lagos State Government; with Focus on the 2023 General Election.

The Publisher of TimelineNG, Mr Yusuf Adeoye, in the statement, disclosed that theme was specially chosen to provide an eye-opener to the level of cooperation in Lagos State government since 1999, when the National Leader of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Mr Bola Ahmed Tinubu, became the Governor and passed on the mantle of leadership to Mr Babatunde Fashola, who handed over to Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, who then handed over to the incumbent governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

At the event, Mr Obasa will share his vast experience as a legislator working to aid and ease the work of the executive in Lagos State, which has led to the tremendous infrastructural development and cordial working atmosphere in the state over the years.

Later, the organisers will give awards to a few prominent Nigerians, who have distinguished themselves in various fields.
