Popular Nigerian actor, Jim Iyke, has added colour and glamour to the ‘Resume or Resign’ protest led by famous entertainer, Charles Oputa, otherwise known as Charly Boy.

Also joining the daily sit-out initiative is Aisha Yesufu of the famous Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) campaign calling for the return of the kidnapped Chibok schoolgirls in 2014.

Yesterday, Charly Boy fainted after police fired teargas at the protesters calling for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari if he fails to resume to work.

Mr Buhari left the shores of the country on May 7, 2017 to London to attend to his health. While leaving, he transmitted power to his Vice, Mr Yemi Osinbajo, who has been acting as President in his absence.

However, Nigerians have been left in the dark as to the exact illness the President is nursing, giving rise to speculations and uncertainty in the country.

Few days ago, an aide to the President said it was an insult for Nigerians to ask the nature of Mr Buhari’s sickness.

One of the media aides to the President, Mr Garba Shehu, also said this week that while the protesters have the right to demonstrate, they are asking too much calling for the President’s resignation.
