Surveyor-General of Lagos State, Mr Olutomi Sangowawa, has charged officers to strive towards improved levels of productivity so as to ensure sustainable growth and realisation of the lofty vision of the state government.
Speaking during the year’s first prayer session in his office, Mr Sangowawa reasserted the commitment of the administration of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on service delivery to the people of the State and enjoined staff to embrace service delivery as their watchword in the year 2017.
He emphasised the commitment of Mr Ambode to the welfare of its workforce by ensuring that the salaries of workers is on the first charge of the expenditure of the state government, which is being paid on or before 23rd of every month, while imploring them to reciprocate the gesture by working towards the attainment of the goals of the present administration.
The Surveyor-General also reminded workers about the state budget performance and the increase in the 2017 revenue target allocated to the Office, hence appealed to them that all hands must be on deck to achieve the target, describing it as “A task that must be done.”
