Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has dissolved the waste management task force with immediate effect.
He announced the dissolution of the team on Thursday through the Chairman of the Transition and Inauguration Committee, Mr Segun Ogunwuyi.
Mr Makinde thanked the task force for the tremendous job carried out during their time and wished them well in their future endeavours.
“I have the directive of the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, to inform you of the dissolution of the Oyo State Waste Management Task Force with effect from today, May 25, 2023.
“The Task Force is, by this directive, required to officially hand over and submit all government properties to the Transition & Inauguration Committee.
“[The Governor] appreciates your tremendous contributions to the development of our dear state and wishes you success in your future endeavours,” the statement read.
