Many Feared Dead as Twin Explosion Rocks Mubi Market in Adamawa

A bomb explosion has killed scores of people at the Mubi main market in Adamawa State.

This comes a day after President Muhammadu Buhari met with President Donald Trump at the White House in Washington DC, USA.

Many people were said to have lost their lives during the unfortunate incident, which occurred on Tuesday as workers across the country mark their day.

According to reports, the explosion was caused by suicide bombers, who detonated their bomb vests at the busy market.

It was further gathered that the explosion precisely happened at Layin Gonjo Mosque in Mubi Main Market around 12:50pm and 1:10pm, shortly before midday prayers.

Our correspondent gathered that apart from the scores of people believed to have someone the incident, many are in critical conditions and are being attended to at the hospital.
