Train derails at Asade Mangoro Lagos

There was apprehension on Thursday in the Asade Mangoro area of Lagos State when a train has derailed from its track.

Information reaching us revealed that the derailed train hit some vehicles in the area, leaving some undisclosed number of persons wounded.

It is still not certain if any life was lost during the unfortunate incident, which has caused traffic gridlock in the area.

Some passers-by, residents and those doing business within the area were seen around the scene of the incident.

Business Post reports that the derailed train was carrying some passengers when the incident happened around 7am. It was reportedly caused by faulty rail tracks near the scene of the accident.

However, as at the time of filing this report, some emergency officials were seen at spot trying to bring the situation under control.

CAC Delists 44,000 Firms, Registers 1.4 Companies
