The 2024 edition of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ) Student Week is gearing up, especially with the interest from some reputable corporate and media organisations in the country.
One of the fastest-growing credible online newspapers in Nigeria, NewsOnline Nigeria, has thrown its full weight behind the programme slated for Monday, June 24 to Saturday, June 29, 2024.
The news platform disclosed in a statement that its sponsorship of the event is part of its social responsibility and civic duty to benefit society and young student journalists.

The 2024 NIJ Students Week tagged Loud Am is organised by the Students Representative Council (SRC) of the respected institution based in the Ogba area of Lagos.
The yearly event provides a break from academic pursuits and offers students a chance to engage in various enriching activities like the NIJ Got Talent Competition, Cultural Day, Sports Day, Career Show, Concert, and the Dinner and Awards Night.
Chairman of the Students Week Organizing Committee, Mr Daniel Efeurhobo, expressed excitement about the support from NewsOnline Nigeria and others.
The other organisations sponsoring the programme include News Central, Airtel Nigeria, Lagos State TV, ThisDay Newspaper, Focalpoint and the BoostNaija, among others.
