Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, on Sunday afternoon, visited a former Governor of the state, Mr Segun Oni.
During the visit, the Governor reportedly had lunch at his host’s residence in Ifaki-Ekiti.
After the visit, both politicians came out and appeared very excited being together.
Mr Fayose described his host as a brother and friend, noting that he was not at loggerheads with him as some would have imagined.
Both of them belong to opposing political parties. While Mr Fayose is of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Oni is with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Ekiti State Governor has remained a thorn in the flesh of the APC-led Federal Government, criticising the party heavily.
