PwC Nigeria Partner Tola Ogundipe Dies

The Deputy Senior Country Partner at PwC Nigeria, Mr Tola Ogundipe, has died. The death of the accounting expert was confirmed on Monday.

“We grieve, we mourn but we trust that you are in a better place free from the hurts of the world. RIP Tola Ogundipe. A true leader,” a statement from the organisation confirming the demise of Mr Ogundipe said.

Also, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) confirmed the death of Mr Ogundele, who was an Africa tax and legal services leader.

“It is with great sense of loss that we announce the sudden demise of our council member, Mr Tola Ogundipe, Deputy Senior Country Partner of PwC today (yesterday), September 7, 2020.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this heart breaking period.

“Tola joined the governing council of ICAN in 2017. He served the institute meritoriously in several committees. He will be sorely missed,” a statement from the Registrar/Chief Executive of ICAN, Mr Ahmed Mr Kumshe, said.
