The Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will on Thursday, February 22, 2024, address residents of the state at 11:15 am.
A statement from the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Gbenga Omotoso, on Tuesday night, said the Governor would have the engagement through a media chat.
He explained that Mr Sanwo-Olu would use the platform to “announce some key policies on the welfare of all Lagosians” and give a scorecard of his administration since he was voted to lead them.
The Commissioner stated that the media chat would be aired live by some radio stations, including Lagos Traffic Radio 96.1 FM and Eko FM 89.7, with the interviewers drawn from Channels TV, Arise TV, TVC and LTV.
It was disclosed that during the event, Governor Sanwo-Olu would inform Lagosians of the plans his administration has for them “in these tough times.”
“We will let our people know what we have done and what we will be doing about their welfare, their lives and livelihoods; we will not leave them to their own devices,” Mr Sanwo-Olu was quoted as saying in the statement.
