President Bola Tinubu will on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, address Nigerians in a nationwide broadcast slated for 7 am.

This was confirmed in a statement issued on Tuesday night by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Ajuri Ngelalee.

The federal government declared tomorrow as a public holiday to celebrate Democracy Day, which was moved from May 29 by the immediate past President of Nigeria, Mr Muhammadu Buhari, to honour the late MKO Abiola, the acclaimed winner of the annulled June 1993 presidential election.

In the statement issued by Mr Ngelale, “Television, radio, and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to plug into the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the broadcast.”
