A company has called on residents of Oyo State to keep their communities clean and imbibe healthy lifestyles, as health is wealth.

The firm, Mottainai Recycling Limited, which was recently appointed as the waste consultant for the Oyo State government, emphasised the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

“Healthy living is best achieved when we keep our communities and environment clean. At Mottainai Recycling, we are committed to ensuring this is our reality,” the Managing Director of the organisation, Mr Adey Adewuyi, said.

While speaking during an inspection of waste evacuation by PSPs in the Ibadan metropolis on Thursday, he expressed the firm’s support for the campaign on proper waste disposal by the Oyo State government.

He stressed that there is a need to educate the populace on proper sanitation, restating the commitment of Mottainai to the continuous advocacy of a cleaner environment initiative in Oyo State.

“Mottainai is supporting the Oyo State Government to ensure that the clean and ideal Oyo State is delivered,” he said, calling on residents in the state to act in an environmentally-friendly manner in order to avoid flooding.
