In order to expand testing and combat the spread of the coronavirus outbreak across communities, Lagos State has established testing centres across its 20 local government areas (LGAs).
The government said the centres are meant for those who fit the case definition of COVID-19.
According to the Lagos State government, visits to these centres are strictly by appointment and not for emergency cases.
“In order to increase COVID-19 testing capacity in Lagos, the State Government has set up sampling stations in the 20 local government areas, for citizens who fit the case definition of COVID-19, to visit and drop samples for testing,” the Lagos State wrote via its official Twitter page.
For residents of Somolu Local Government – Wright Memorial Primary Health Centre (PHC) Emmanuel Street, Somolu.
For Ifako-Ijaiye LGA – lfako Mini Stadium College Road beside Ifako General Hospital.
For Ojo Local Government – Ojo PHC 1 Rest House, Ojo.
In Eti Osa Local Government – Ikota Primary School, Lekki-Epe Expressway.
In Surulere – Surulere Local Council 24, Alhaji Masha Road, Secretariat Surulere.
In Kosofe LGA – Ogudu Area Office By Ogudu Roundabout.
For those LGA fall under Amuwo Odofin – AmuwoOdofin LGA 41 Road, Festac Town.
In Ikorodu – Ita Elewa PHC and Igbobo PHC Oriwu Road, Ikorodu and 32, Bola Ahmed Way, Igbogbo respectively.
In Lagos Island Igalduganran PHC 151/152 Adeniji Adele Road, Lagos Island.
In Epe – Epe PHC Epe/Ijebu-Ode Expressway by Old Oba’s Palace.
For those in Lagos Mainland – Simpson PHC 1, Glover Road, by Simpson Street, EbuteMetta.
For those under the Ajerom Ifelodun LGA – Akere PHC 106, Baale Str, Oluwa Akere.
For the residents of Ibeju Lekki – Awoyaya Mayfair Estate Beside First Bank.
In Apapa – Apapa lganmu LCDA Secretariat 41, Gaskiya Road, Badia Apapa.
For those in Oshodi Isolo – Ajibulu PHC 1, Ajibulu Street, Mafoluku in Oshodi.
For residents of Ikeja and its environs – Ikeja LGA Secretariat 2/3 Obafemi Awolowo Way.
Agege – Sango PHC 2, Balogun Street, Pen Cinema, Agege.
In Bagagry LGA – Ajara Flagship Centre 1, Wande Street, opposite 100 Shops, Ajara, Badagry.
For Mushin – Isolo Road PHC, and Odi-Olowo LCDA Secretariat Isolo Road, near Zone D Police Command, Mushin, Ilupeju.
In Alimosho LGA – six centres were provided: Bola Ahmed Tinubu PHC, Ipaja Mini Stadium, Rauf Aregbesola PHC, Meiran PHC, Ijegun PHC, and Helen Aderonke PHC. These are located at : Vulcanizer Bus-Stop, Egbeda; Fela Field Ipaja; 1, Powerline Road, Okunola Mosan Okunola; 1, Meiran Road, Meiran; 30, Kudeyibu Street; Transformer Bus-Stop, Old (Solo Road, ljegun Along Ejigbo Road, beside Olorunfunmi Primary School, OPC junction, ldimu Bus-Stop respectively
As at Monday, the state has registered 376 cases with 70 cases recorded on Sunday, the highest daily so far.
