For their exceptional contributions to the growth of the company and their outstanding services to customers, Airtel Nigeria has promoted some of its employees across its regions of operations.
It is the first leg of its yearly promotion exercise held twice a year in July and December.
In this first batch, no fewer than 20 members of staff moved into senior leadership roles, out of which three are women, with one promoted to the position of Vice President.
In a statement, the telecommunications network provider said the promotions, which took effect from April 1, 2023, mark another milestone in its commitment to recognising and rewarding its employees.
“Airtel Nigeria is a world-class company which both implements global best practices throughout its divisions and regularly spotlights employees who live the values of excellence for which the company has become known.
“We are immensely proud to welcome these employees into their new roles and wish them more success in their careers,” the chief executive of Airtel Nigeria, Mr Carl Cruz, said.
On her part, the Director of Human Resources and Administration at Airtel Nigeria, Ms Adebimpe Ayo-Elias, said, “These employees have consistently met and exceeded expectations in their respective areas of work, delivering value to the organization. Our organisation will continue to recognize and appreciate top performers as opportunities arise.”
Airtel Nigeria, a frontrunner in the country’s telecommunications sector, says it places immense value on its employees and their career fulfilment by maintaining a culture of consistently recognising and rewarding high-performing staff.
It stated that the implementation of these promotion cycles serves as a testament to its commitment to fostering a culture of meritocracy,
“By providing opportunities for advancement within the organization, Airtel Nigeria aims to motivate its employees further, encouraging them to continue delivering outstanding results and contributing to the company’s overall success,” the CEO echoed.
