Members of the public have been advised against falling into the hands of some unscrupulous individuals or groups selling fake loan assessment forms of the State Employment Trust Fund.

Lagos State Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Babatunde Durosinmi-Etti, gave the warning on Thursday at his office in Alausa, Ikeja, saying that no forms has been made available by the Employment Trust Fund Board to access funds.

Mr Durosinmi-Etti stressed that the Trust Fund Board has not authorised any agent to sell loan assessment forms on its behalf or in the name of the State Government, adding that “members of the public are hereby advised not to purchase any form purportedly issued by the Board or State Government in relation to securing loan from LSETF.”

The Commissioner maintained that information about modalities for accessing the loan will be made public by the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund at the appropriate time.

He implored the general public to contact the Executive Secretary, LSETF at 16, Billings Way, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos or call 08173777900 for further inquiries.
