A new appointment has been announced by the management of Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, one of the companies listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
A statement issued by the firm disclosed that Mr Anders Kristiansson has now been appointed as its new Chief Finance Officer (CFO).
This followed the resignation of Mr Jacques Vauthier, who finally leaves the position at the end of the year.
The market leader in food and agro-allied products in Nigeria expressed its gratitude to Mr Vauthier, who has been with the group for over seven years, for his time and dedication to the development of the business and wished him the very best in all his future endeavours.
According to Flour Mills, Mr Kristiansson joins the company with a wealth of experience working in senior and executive finance positions in several multi-national organisations in Nigeria and across Africa, including, Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola Hellenic, Lafarge Holcim and PZ Cussons Nigeria.
His rich experience in in this similarly complex, multi-site, publicly quoted, joint ventures, branded consumer products and industrial product companies, make him ready for a seamless transition into the position of the Chief Finance Officer.
Mr Kristiansson is a Certified Accountant with the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), certified in IFRS (Institute of Chartered Accountants, England and Wales) and an alumnus of London Business School Advance Management Program.
He studied in Canada an ermany and has a Master of Science degree in Business Administration and Economic om Gothenburg University, Sweden.
