One of the directors on the board of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc, Dr Samaila Musa Kewa, has resigned from the position.

A statement signed by the Company Secretary, Mrs O.M. Jafojo, said on Monday that the exit of Dr Kewa was with immediate effect.

However, no reason was given by the leading oil and gas firm in Nigeria for the resignation of Dr Kewa from the company.

Dr Kewa, while on the board of MRS Oil Nigeria, was a non-executive member, a position he has held since March 7, 2007.

“MRS Oil Nigeria Plc hereby announces the resignation of Dr Samaila Musa Kewa, a non-executive director of the company.

“Dr Samaila Kewa’s resignation is effective immediately,” the statement said.
