Eko Electricity Distribution Plc (EKEDC), one of Nigeria’s leading power distribution companies, has announced the appointment of Rekhiat Momoh as its Acting Chief Executive Officer, effective March 26, 2024.
Momoh takes over from Tinuade Sanda, who has been redeployed to WPG Ltd, the core investor that seconded her to Eko Disco.
With over three decades of experience in the power sector, Momoh brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role. She has risen through the ranks, serving in various capacities at NEPA, PHCN, and now EKEDC, receiving numerous excellence awards, commendations, and medals along the way.
A marketer by training, Momoh holds an MBA from Lagos State University and is a fellow of several prestigious organizations, including the Nigeria Institute of Management and the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria. She has attended numerous leadership and management courses and training programs, both locally and internationally, further honing her skills and expertise.
In her new role, Momoh will be responsible for overseeing Eko Disco’s operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the company continues to deliver reliable and efficient power distribution services to its customers.
