Livestock Feeds Promotes Adedeji to Acting MD/CEO

The General Manager Sales and Operations of Livestock Feeds Plc, Mr Adegboyega Adedeji, has been appointed to become the acting Managing Director/CEO of the company.

The appointment of Mr Adedeji was confirmed by the board of director of Livestock Feeds Plc, a subsidiary of the UAC of Nigeria Plc.

He was chosen to occupy the position in an acting capacity following the voluntary retirement/resignation of the Managing Director, Mr Solomon Aigbavboa, with effect from August 2019.

Mr Aigbavboa had been appointed by the board as MD/CEO at a meeting of the board held on Thursday, December 7, 2017, with effect from January 1, 2018. He had then taken over from Mrs Modupe Asanmo, who retired after 10 years of meritorious service to the Company.

In a statement issued by Livestock Feeds yesterday, the board commended Mr Aigbavboe for his exemplary leadership and sterling track record of good performance since he assumed the position in 2018.

The new MD/CEO, while in his previous position, was responsible for the firm’s sales activities, strategic development of markets, and new products portfolio generation and development.

He has in his 19-year experience in the UAC Group, worked as Regional Sales Manager; Grand Cereals Limited, Franchise Sales Manager, UAC Restaurant Limited, National Sales & Marketing Manager, UAC Diaries, and at different times Sales Operations Manager and Regional Sales Manager; UAC Foods Limited.

He was General Manager (Sales and Marketing) of Livestock Feeds Plc from March 2014 to 2018 and General Manager Sales and Operations since January 2019 before his new appointment.

Mr Adedeji holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Geography from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and a Masters in Business Administration from Roehampton University United Kingdom.
