Mobil Oil Nigeria Appoints Meseko as Secretary

Mr Olumayowa Meseko has been appointed at the new Company Secretary of 11 Plc (formerly Mobil Oil Nigeria Plc), with effect from June 14, 2019.

In a statement signed by Managing Director of the energy firm, Mr Adetunji Oyebanji, it was disclosed that the appointment followed the approval of the company’s board of directors.

Mr Oyebanji noted that in view of the appointment of Mr Meseko to the office of Company Secretary of Mobil Oil Nigeria, “Messrs Danladi, Adams & Co shall cease to act as Company Secretary of 11 Plc with immediate effect.”

Mr Meseko, who holds a Master degree in laws (LL.M) from the University of Lagos and had his first degree from University of Ilorin, Kwara State, will also serve as the company’s Deputy Legal

Adviser in addition to his role as the Company Secretary.

The appointee is a member of the Nigeria Bar Association, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria, and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK).

In his previous assignments, he worked with Vitafoam Nigeria Plc as the Legal and Compliance Manager and also served as the immediate past Company Secretary of Vono Furniture Products Limited and Vitagreen Nigeria Limited.

Prior to his work with Vitafoam, he was the Head of Corporate and Legal Services/Company Secretary of Allied Computers Limited.
