Mr Jimmy James Kallumkal and Ms Karen Ashleigh Witthoft have retired from the board of NCR Nigeria Plc with effect from Friday, November 1, 2024.

A statement from the company disclosed this, adding that Mr Abdulqudus Anuoluwa Ashimi has been appointed to the board with effect from Wednesday, November 6, 2024, subject to ratification by the shareholders at the next Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the company.

The statement described Mr Ashimi as a positive, proactive and result-driven individual with over 12 years of cross-functional career experience spanning Service delivery, operations management, supply chain, logistics, inventory management and human resource management, across consumer goods, retail distribution and information technology sectors with landmark achievements.

He is also said to be skilled in logistics operations, data analytics, service delivery, customer relationship management, import and export management, distribution & warehouse management, inventory management, service quality management, process development and improvement.

The new board member, who holds a Master’s degree in Industrial and Labour Relations together with a BSc degree from the University of Lagos, joined NCR Nigeria in 2016 as a logistics controller and rose through the ranks, occupying different positions throughout the years within the company’s supply chain organisation.

In February 2023, he took up a new role and is currently the Service Delivery Manager at NCR Nigeria Plc.

The board, which wished him well in his new role, also thanked Mr Kallumkal and Ms Witthoft for their service and contributions to the firm during their tenure as directors of the company.
