A new secretary has been appointed by one of the insurance companies operating in Nigeria, Staco Insurance Plc.
A statement issued by the insurer disclosed that Jackson, Etti & Edu is now the new Company Secretary of Staco Insurance.
The appointment of this legal firm followed the resignation of the former occupier of the position, Mr Taiwo Ogunbajo.
It was disclosed that Jackson, Etti & Edu was picked as the Company Secretary at the meeting of the board of directors of the company held on July 30, 2018 in Lagos.
“We wish to notify the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), our shareholders and our esteemed stakeholders that Staco Insurance Plc has appointed a new Company Secretary, following the resignation of Taiwo Ogunbajo as Company Secretary of the company.
“The board of directors of the company at its meeting held in Lagos on July 30, 2018, appointed Jackson, Etti & Edu as the Company Secretary of the company, effective immediately,” the statement signed by Staco Insurance’s Executive Director in charge of Management Services, Mr Tayo Ajibulu, stated.
A brief profile of the firm’s new scribe showed that Jackson, Etti & Edu is one of Nigeria’s leading commercial practices, which renders specialist legal services and advice to its clients.
The company provides company secretarial services to a wide range of companies in various sectors of the economy and has developed expertise in company law and administration.
