For those very conversant with one of the trending issues on Twitter in Nigeria at the moment, they would have come across the Berger to Ajah, #BergertoAjah, hashtag tweets.
Business Post gathered that the trending hashtag started from an allegation made by a friend of a lady, who visited a stranger she met on Twitter in the Ajah, Lagos State, claiming the man forced himself into her.
The victim, Bimbo Cole, with the handle @b_moree_, left her place in Berger, to visit her male friend in Ajah, both opposite ends of Lagos.
However, when she reached her destination, the man, who was surprised at what he saw (probably different from the picture he saw on social media), failed to give attention to the lady. He rather concentrated on his laptop when the lady was in the room with him.
This, we learned, infuriated Bimbo Cole, who quickly informed her friend named @OmogeDami on Twitter of the humiliation.
Not happy with this, @OmogeDami ran to social media to accuse Uche of molesting her friend.
In response, Uche posted on Twitter that he never touched Bimbo as claimed, releasing chats both parties had on Whatsapp.
In reaction, Bimbo Cole cleared the air, stressing that Uche never molested as earlier alleged.
“First thing, I did not accuse Uche of ràpe, as you can see, I said ‘I allowed him’ I didn’t want to have sèx, but I did, because I didn’t want to get ràped again’.
