Moments from “33” Export City of Friends Concert In Lagos

By Olubori Oduntan

The 2018 edition of “33” Export City of Friends Concert took Lagos by storm yesterday and the turnout was amazing. Day One of the party adventure took place at Eagle’s club in Surulere. It was absolutely grand and a lot of things will linger in our memories for a long time.

“33” Export pulled out all the stops on this one, as Eagle Club was completely transformed. We did not need too much motivation to be in the party mood or better yet the “33” City of Friends Party mood.

The concert did not have a single turn down moment with DJ Real and DJ Big N keeping the vibe at a constant upward momentum.

The self-acclaimed doctor and Agege’s favourite son, Small Doctor, rocked the crowd to an electric and energetic performance. His hit street classic, Penalty took the audience to another level and lest we forget, he also rocked the stage with his dance steps too. Many couldn’t get enough of him

Like the star that he is, Adigun Alapomeji, fondly called 9ice, stepped on stage and blessed fans with back to back hits. The Ancestor also took us back memory lane to two of his best evergreen songs, Gongo Aso and Street Credibility.

The performance of Kizz Daniel was excellent performance and fun seekers could not get enough of the Fly Boy.  He stepped on the stage to perform Mama for the beautiful ladies, after which he took the audience back to the beginning with Woju and brought guests to the present with Baba.

“33” Export gave out exciting prizes to lucky winners at the party. What is a friendship party without giving gifts?

Those at the event were treated to an abundance of games, from board games to console games. Beating a stranger at a friendly game is just the best feeling, and of course he/she becomes your friend right after.
