PR Practitioner David Adeyemi to Unveil Book on Music Promotion

With a career spanning over five years, fast-rising Music Public Relations consultant, Mr David Adeyemi, has taken the bull by the horn and is set to launch his debut publication, a book on music PR titled Music Promotion: A Guide To Hacking The Damn Thing!

Mr Adeyemi explores the arduous journey of breaking into the scene in his first major publication which gives a fresh perspective on breaking through in the Nigerian music industry, one of the most competitive music industries worldwide.

The publication also features inputs from seasoned professionals in the industry with the likes of Dipo Smart, Tosin Adekeye, Dusten Truce, Jide Taiwo and entertainment mogul Edi Lawani who wrote an introduction to the book where he stated the importance of artists embracing professional services in public relations.

The launch is set to take place at the BWC Hotel, Victoria Island on Saturday, May 7, 2022.

Mr Adeyemi started his career as an entertainment reporter and editor, covering events and publicising them across social media platforms. He later nestled in the entertainment PR.

He is also a social media consultant and strategist with a series of campaign successes to his name.

The turnaround for the PR titan came during the lockdown in early 2020, when he launched his Music PR agency, Pizzazz Media, where he and his friends consulted for emerging artists to plan their pre and post-release campaigns.

Leading the team at Pizzazz Media, he has worked with Mani Lapussh, ADEOLUWA, AFRIMA, DJ Yin, Globe Arctic, Johni, and Damilola Odedina, among others.
