On Saturday, September 15, 2018, Lagos was nearly shut down for the talk of the town wedding ceremony of Mr Olayinka Mayor Afolabi and Miss Abisola Olufunke Omisade.
The event was graced by the who-is-who of Nigeria, including traditional rulers, politicians, business moguls amongst others.
In fact, parents of the celebrants, Dr Taiwo Afolabi of Sifax Group and Prince Olayinka Omisade could not hide their joy on that day.
Some of the dignitaries at the wedding were the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi; the Elegushi of Ikate Land, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi; the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi; the Olowu of Owu, Oba Adegboyega Dosunmu; and the Ojora of Ijora, Oba Fatai Aremu Aromire.
Others were Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State; First Lady of Katsina State, Hajiya Binta Masari; Dr Tokunbo Awolowo Dosunmu, Chairman of the occasion; Pastor Ituah Ighodalo of The Trinity House Ministries International; Princess Toyin Kolade; Princess Toyin Atobatele; Mrs Funke Akinyera; Mayor Akinpelu of Global Excellence Magazine; Mr Olarenwaju Akani Lamex and Ayo Shobuyi.
Also in attendance were Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, Chief Mike Inegebese, Mr Dayo Adeneye, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila, Olori Ladun Sijuade, Prince Bisi Olatilo, Desmond Elliot, Omotola Ekeinde-Jolade, Susan Patrick, Monalisa Chinda Coker with performance from 2Face Idibia, Mayorkun, Reekado Banks as well as the groom’s brother, Damilola Afolabi, otherwise known as L.A.X.
The event, which was moderated by Mr Tunde Adewale, otherwise known as Tee-A, took place at the Harbour Point, Lekki, Lagos.
The groom, Mr Olayinka Mayor Afolabi, a graduate of Accounting from Coventry University, United Kingdom, met his wife at his sister’s grand ball event in the UK.
He presently works at SIFAX Marine Services as a Director and Business Development Manager. He also owns The Grill Outlet located in Ikoyi, Lagos.
His heartthrob, who just relocated from the UK, is a graduate from one of the Ivy League Schools in the UK. She is an HR Manager by profession.
The blockchain brings new financing options to the business market. For example, Bitcoin Cash casino has adapted to only using cryptocurrency. This way, it makes it easier for their customers to deposit and withdraw in a BCH casino. Entrepreneurs have taken note of this and are looking to invest more in crypto than in fiat markets.
