Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Splashes N50m for 2024 FUZE Talent Show

A cash prize of N50 million is to be won at the 2024 FUZE Talent Show organised by Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers, a subsidiary of Stanbic IBTC Holdings.
The theme for this year is Light it Up and will have participation from young talents aged 18 to 35 displaying their abilities across various artistic fields, including music, dance, fashion, and technology.
The event offers emerging talents a golden opportunity to dazzle a live audience and a panel of esteemed judges.
Prospective contestants are invited to join the pursuit of excellence by signing up for FUZE Talent Show 3.0. Contestants and audience members can register on the Stanbic IBTC Events App on Android or iOS or events.stanbicibtc.com to participate. The audition process, which is both digital and interactive, involves downloading the Stanbic IBTC Events App or visiting events.stanbicibtc.com, completing a registration form, and submitting a one-minute video that best showcases one’s talent.
This show, in its third season, promises to be an even more enthralling experience with unprecedented exposure for contestants because of the higher stakes involved. The last season of FUZE captivated over 10,000 participants and drew the attention of millions of viewers from across the globe.
The chief executive of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers, Mr Olumide Oyetan, said the initiative showcases the rich Nigerian culture through its diverse artistic expressions; thus promoting and lifting the nation’s creative vista, urging youths to take part in this exceptional, award-winning event.
“The primary aim of the FUZE Talent Show is to provide a supportive platform for talented Nigerian youths, allowing them to connect, access essential resources, and receive the necessary guidance necessary for developing their skills. This initiative is aimed at motivating and helping the aspirations of the next generation become a reality,” he said.
A highlight of the show, the FUZE Festival, is set for December 2024, when the winners of the third edition of the FUZE Talent Hunt will be announced.
With a grand prize of N50 million, the winners will gain significant industry exposure and receive crucial mentorship for further exposure and commercialization of their talents.

A Nigerian actress, Temitope Osoba, fondly called Tope Osoba by her fans, has reportedly passed away.
She died barely a year after she survived a battle with breast cancer, reports say.
The 41-year-old entertainer left the acting world to cater to her health, but returned shortly after she had a successful treatment in 2025.
The movie producer, however, has not been very active in the past months, ostensibly due to her health.
Her demise has come as a shock to some of her colleagues and admirers, as she was very lively during her lifetime.

After days of anticipation, Flora and Aikou have been confirmed as this season’s Gambits after receiving the highest number of votes from viewers. This was revealed during Sunday’s live show, where host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced the pair as the viewers’ choices.
Introduced as a brand-new twist for Season 11, The Gambit guarantees two selected housemates a place in the House until the final day. Although they will participate in tasks and House activities throughout the season, they will not be eligible to compete for the grand prize.
Sunday’s live show also marked the end of the Ladies-versus-Gentlemen format that defined the opening weeks of the competition. With the teams officially dissolved, the housemates will now compete as individuals.
Biggie also unveiled this week’s wager task, Game On, challenging the housemates to define the identity of Season 11. Through a creative presentation incorporating elements such as a logo, slogan, song, artwork and props, the housemates have been tasked with capturing what they believe this edition of Big Brother Naija should stand for and how they want it to be remembered.
The excitement continues today with the second Head of House Challenge at 2:00 p.m., where housemates will once again battle for power in the House.
