A veteran Yoruba actor, Mr Adedeji Aderemi, popularly known as Baba Olofa Ina or Olofa Ina, has died at 73 years old.
A renowned movie star, Mr Saidi Balogun, announced the death of the legend in the Nigerian film industry on Thursday night.
The deceased, born on May 15, 1950, into the family of the late AbdulSalam Aderemi and the late Madam Aisha Aderemi of the Jagun-Olukosi compound in Ede, Osun State, acted in several films before his death.
He was one of the most respected thespians in Nollywood and was very popular and loved by his colleagues, associates, and fans.
“Goodnight Legend Chief Adedeji Aderemi, alias Olofa Ina,” Mr Saidi Balogun wrote while announcing his death on social media today.
The late Olofa Ina was one of the prominent members of the Association of Nigerian Threatre Arts Practitioners (ANTP).
