A veteran Yoruba actor, Mr Dayo Adewunmi, otherwise known as Sule Suebebe, has died at a hospital in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The thespian, who has been ill for a while, reportedly breathed his last at an undisclosed health facility in the ancient city on Wednesday morning.

News of his illness became public knowledge some months ago after a popular Ibadan-based cleric, Mr Ademola Amusan, popularly known as Agbala Gabriel, visited him and solicited funds for him.

It was said that he was being taken care of by this man of God, who announced his passing today.

“It’s a pity, Baba Suebebe died at the hospital this morning. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace,” a post by Agbala Gabriel on his Facebook page stated.

Before his demise, the actor was featured in several movies in different characters.
