Gentlemen Edge Ladies in BBNaija Season 11 Nature vs Nurture Wager

BBNaija Season 11 Nature vs Nurture

The battle of the sexes continued in Big Brother Naija Season 11 as the gentlemen claimed victory in this week’s wager task presentation, while the ladies fell short in a debate centred on the age-old question: Nature or Nurture?

From the start of the season, Biggie split the House into two teams, with the ladies and gentlemen to compete against each other in key challenges, including wager task presentations and arena games. For this week’s wager, the teams were assigned opposing sides in a Nature versus Nurture debate, with the gentlemen arguing that inherited traits have the greatest influence on who people become, while the ladies defended the idea that people are largely shaped by their upbringing, environment and life experiences.

After both teams presented their arguments, Biggie declared the gentlemen the winners of the wager. While announcing the result, he admitted that neither team delivered an outstanding performance, noting that the House is still in its “honeymoon phase” and that he was selecting a winner based on the stronger overall presentation.

Despite his reservations, Biggie singled out Nomy, Neche, Chimsom Chuka, Cassi and Gerard for their standout contributions, praising their confidence, delivery and commitment during the task.

With one team victory secured, the rivalry between the ladies and the gentlemen continues to heat up, and the competition is only getting tougher.

But that’s not the only thing viewers have to look forward to this weekend. All eyes are now on the Saturday night party and Sunday’s live show, where the mystery surrounding The Gambit will finally be revealed. Ngozi Nwosu

By Adedapo Adesanya

The Governor of Abia State, Mr Alex Otti, has approved the first tranche of medical support for veteran Nollywood actress, Mrs Ngozi Nwosu, following reports about her health condition.

The development was disclosed by the Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Tourism and Entertainment, Mr Justice Okey Martins, popularly known as JMartins, in a statement shared via his official X handle on Tuesday.

According to JMartins, the Governor intervened by approving the initial payment towards the actress’ medical expenses.

“His Excellency @alexottiofr have just stepped in on the health issues of our Nollywood legendary actress, Mrs Ngozi Nwosu, to approve the first part of our medical bills,” he wrote.

While expressing gratitude to Governor Otti for the intervention, JMartins appealed to Nigerians to continue supporting the actress financially.

“While we sincerely appreciate His Excellency, we still appeal to kind-hearted Nigerians to please support her in any way possible you can,” he said.

He also conveyed appreciation to the governor on behalf of the entertainment industry.

“On behalf of the creative industry, we all thank you immensely, my leader,” the spokesman added.

The veteran thespian last week appealed for public support to raise N30 million for three urgent surgeries after spending three weeks in hospital.

Mrs Nwosu said the situation had become more than she could handle and called on her fans, relatives and colleagues to support her treatment.

“My people, my fans and my family, I know that you’ve not seen me in circulation for some time. I’ve been hospitalised now for three weeks. Please, the thing has gone beyond my control,” she said.

The actress described the pain she was experiencing and begged Nigerians not to abandon her.

She stated that the “total amount needed for all surgeries is: N30,000,000,” adding that supporters could contact her legal representative or management for further details.

Mrs Nwosu is known for her portrayal as Peaceful Peace, one of the central characters in the long-running comedy series, Fuji House of Commotion, which remains her most iconic television role. She has also starred in films including Living in Bondage, Osuofia in London, Aki na Ukwa, My Village People, and Chief Daddy 2: Going for Broke.

Some years ago, she battled a sickness, which required calls to members of the public for financial support.
