Betting For the Newbies
Did you know you can be a sharp gambler with the correct information? Thanks to the internet booming, online gambling is growing all the time. Nowadays, people are betting from home as it is convenient and comfortable, unlike brick-and-mortar casinos. Gambling at home also allows for concentration; hence you can win bigger prizes.
What does it take to start gambling as a beginner? There are things you should look out for before you start betting. The essential point is to evaluate your preferences and a betting platform that suits your gambling needs. In this article, we outline the newbies’ guide to online gambling.
Check Online Gambling Laws in Your Country
This is the initial step to avoid being on the wrong side of the law. Every country has its own rules and regulations on gambling. For instance, in Poland, gambling is regulated by the Gambling Act. This Act allows a state monopoly on games like cash lotteries and bingo. Trustworthy betting platforms do require new players to confirm their identification before starting to play for security concerns
Select a Trustworthy Betting Platform
Anything done on the internet is prone to cyberbullying, especially online gambling. As a beginner, you should select a reputable online casino. This can be achieved by conducting thorough research on the casinos before betting to avoid losing money and other vital information. Before settling on a specific casino, look for the following checklist:
- Licensing info
- Login encryption to protect your password and username
- Trusted and reliable banking option
- Online reviews of the casino
Ensure You are Safe and Secure
Playing in trustworthy online casinos guarantees safety and security. However, do not play if you have concerns with your safety. Beginners can easily lose their vital information through third-party access. Always select usernames and passwords that are not easy to guess by hackers. Also, play with only what you can afford to lose.
Select the Right Casino Games
Each casino game has different odds of winning. This implies that some games are easier to win than others. And due to the house advantage casinos have on games, you should be ready to lose your money. So choose the games that you feel you have higher winning chances.
Slots games are easier to play but have a higher house edge, while casino games like baccarat, craps, and blackjack have higher odds than others. Before choosing these games, you should also consider developers like Microgaming, RTG, and Evolution.
Utilise the Casino Bonuses Available
There are several casino promotions that you can grab while playing your preferred casino games. Online casinos entice their clients with bonuses such as welcome bonuses, free spins, and daily, weekly, and monthly bonuses. They also provide loyalty bonuses for their esteemed clients.
Do not sleep on these bonuses. Use them to play and wager on casino games to win real money. Make sure you meet the wagering requirements for each game.
Always Read the Ts & Cs
Always be keen on the details. Read all rules in the terms and conditions section to understand everything, including legal issues and payment terms.
Evaluate the Banking Options
Online casino facilitates an easy and fast deposit and withdrawal process. What you should ask yourself about is the banking options offered by the website you have chosen. Make sure the banking options are many, allowing you to choose the ones that suit you best.
Common deposit and withdrawal methods include Paysafecard, Neteller, Bank Transfer, Wire Transfer, Cryptocurrencies, and credit and debit cards.

Arsenal, Emirates Renew Landmark Partnership
By Modupe Gbadeyanka
The deal between Arsenal Football Club and Emirates has been renewed, making it one of the longest-running and most recognisable partnerships in world sport.
Both parties first came together as partners in 2006 and have since built one of football’s defining partnerships. Spanning the entire Emirates Stadium era, the relationship has evolved alongside the club – supporting Arsenal’s ambitions, strengthening both organisations’ global reach and creating new ways for supporters around the world to connect with Arsenal.
The latest deal will see Emirates continue as the Champions’ front-of-shirt, training kit and stadium naming rights partner through to 2033.
The renewal comes at a pivotal moment in the club’s history following its recent Premier League title. The new agreement will build on many of the flagship initiatives that have defined the partnership, including the Emirates Cup, which brings world-class football to Emirates Stadium each summer, and Global Gooners, which gives supporters from around the world the opportunity to experience Arsenal in North London for the first time.
The next chapter of the partnership will begin this weekend as Arsenal welcome Borussia Dortmund to North London for the Emirates Cup, with a programme of anniversary activity celebrating more than two decades of shared history while looking ahead to the next chapter still to be written. Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, will attend alongside Arsenal senior leadership as part of the celebrations.
Launching alongside the partnership renewal is a new cinematic film featuring Arsenal legend Per Mertesacker. Set inside an antique shop filled with objects from across the Emirates era, the film celebrates two decades of shared memories between Arsenal, Emirates and our supporters, reflecting on the history we’ve made together and the moments still to come.
“Winning the Premier League is an incredibly proud moment in our club’s history and one that belongs to everyone connected with Arsenal. Emirates has been an integral part of this success – standing alongside us throughout this journey and sharing in the defining moments, challenges and successes that have shaped our club over the past two decades,” the chief executive of Arsenal, Mr Richard Garlick, stated.
On his part, the President of Emirates Airline, Sir Tim Clark, said, “Over the last two decades, Emirates and Arsenal have built something that goes far beyond a traditional partnership, and one we are immensely proud of. We have grown alongside the club through changes of era and ambition, united by a shared goal of bringing people closer to what they love.
“In practice, that has meant reaching the millions who follow Arsenal across the Emirates network and beyond and creating experiences for them that neither of us could have done alone.”
