Manchester City have won their first UEFA Champions League title after defeating Inter Milan by a goal to nil in the final match played at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey, on Saturday night.

The lone goal was scored by Rodri in the second half of the match with an assist from Bernardo Silva.

The two teams played a goalless first half, but Rodri handed his team the coveted prize in the 68th minute.

The win has now given the blue side of Manchester their third major trophy of the season, having earlier won the English Premier League and the English FA Cup.

Tonight’s Champions League win is the first for Pep Guardiola since 2011, which he won when he was the manager of Barcelona.
